Following a successful startup of our second BOPP line in Central America, Opp Film El Salvador and Oben Holding Group held an opening ceremony for its new manufacturing plant.  Presiding over the ceremony were the President of the Republic, Mr. Salvador Sanchez Ceren, Vice President, Mr. Oscar Ortiz and our company CEO, Mr. Jamil Zaidan.

During the ceremony, Opp Film El Salvador showed guests its two new 8.7-meter wide BOPP lines with a total production capacity of 70,000 MT/year of high quality films; also introduced was a high volume 4.5-meter wide metallizer with a capacity of 15,000 MT/year. This manufacturing plant, one of a kind in Central America, will serve the growing demand of films in Central America and the Caribbean; it will also shorten our lead times to supply our customers in Mexico, North America and Canada.

Oben Holding Group has manufacturing facilities in 6 countries within the Americas with an overall capacity of 400,000 MT/year.  We produce BOPP, CPP, BOPET and BOPA films as well as extrusion-coated and thermoformed products. Our main offices are located in Lima, Peru.
